As Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partner Alliances, Mark Thielen leads Business Development and Marketing initiatives for NewWave as well as builds strategic partner relationships that expand NewWave’s federal and commercial market share. With over 30 years of executive and leadership experience, Mark is responsible for aligning strategic planning and marketing strategies that drive pursuit and capture of new business opportunities and that competitively position NewWave in market segments that achieve long-term revenue growth objectives.
During his career, Mark has held senior executive level roles leading divisions at Fortune 500 companies both in commercial and federal government sectors specializing in technology, communications, real estate, and business services. His background also includes having strong entrepreneurial experience raising capital and successfully starting-up and leading several companies in early stage development of new business ideas, taking them from concept to market launch. Mark brings a history of developing Federal, Commercial, and Reseller markets thru the implementation of tested and innovative strategies for sustainable revenue growth, new and existing market development and penetration, developing revenue streams across multi-channels, strategic partner development and leading business development in direct and indirect sales organizations.
Mr. Thielen earned his bachelor’s degree at Purdue University and holds a Masters of Business Administration in General Management from Dayton University.
