Executive Vice President of Marketing

Alana Tompkins is a tenured marketing executive with a history of success branding and rebranding, devising marketing strategies, and directing campaigns for both start-up and established organizations. Throughout her career she has a proven track record of creating sustainable and incremental revenue streams by developing strategic marketing campaigns, digital programs and custom events for brands such as Dewars Whiskey, Johnson & Johnson, Lever, Under Armour, General Mills, Wal-Mart, Ford, Miller Coors, General Motors, Delta, BOA, Kraft, Google, CBS, Discovery, and Time Warner and Aol.

As Executive Vice President of Marketing for NewWave and a member of its executive leadership team, Alana sets the strategic direction of the marketing program for the company. She is responsible for the NewWave brand and reputation. Alana oversees all activities related to conceptualizing, implementing, and executing NewWave’s market strategy, brand strategy, advertising, corporate communications, events, and sales enablement programming.

Most recently, Alana served as VP of Client Development for R2integrated (R2i), solidifying relationships with clients such as Under Armour and Boston College. Prior to that, Alana was VP of Marketing, Strategy and Partnerships for Alex+Tom, managing relationships and strategy for CBS, HMSHost, AOL Export-Import Bank, and Bidtellect.
Alana is a proven expert at devising and launching innovative and profitable marketing campaigns for public-sector contracts and global private companies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Towson University in Maryland.
